ChargeUK has appointed a new Communications Chair. Dora Clarke, Osprey Charging’s Head of Brand and External Affairs, will step into the role with immediate effect.
Dora has led Osprey’s communications and marketing activity since 2018. Her experience spans communications, media, public affairs, and brand leadership, including senior roles within the EV sector internationally.
As ChargeUK’s Communications Chair Dora will provide strategic oversight and member‑led direction to ChargeUK’s communications and campaigns activity, working closely with Head of Communications Ian McKee and the rest of the executive team. The non-executive role is designed to act as a conduit on communications for the wider membership.
Iain Coucher, Chair, ChargeUK said:
“Dora is already a valued and active contributor to ChargeUK and has worked closely with the executive team and fellow members over the past 18 months. She brings strong industry insight, a clear sense of how effective communications can support our sector, and a genuine commitment to representing the interests of the wider membership.
“I am very much looking forward to seeing her work with our members and the executive team as she takes on this important role.”
Dora Clarke, Communications Chair, ChargeUK said:
“The EV charging sector has a powerful story to tell. We enable UK drivers and businesses to choose cheaper, cleaner transport. We are part of a thriving UK e‑mobility ecosystem that is driving significant investment and growth opportunities in tough economic circumstances. In this crucial period of infrastructure delivery and customer-focussed operation, articulating the sector’s ongoing value and impact is essential. I am therefore delighted to be working with the ChargeUK team as Communications Chair to represent the membership and ensure our collective story is clearly and confidently told.”
